Sustainable Design/LEED Minimize
As the United States Green Building Council (USGBC) states “build green, everyone profits.” It's a concept that meets strict environmental standards established by the USGBC.  The standards cover issues from maximizing the use of recycled materials to construction waste management in meeting the objectives of LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification program.

Kozeny-Wagner, Inc. enthusiastically supports this ideal and is a strong proponent of sustainable design. We have constructed projects achieving varying levels of LEED designation and addition; we extend every effort to maintain environmentally responsible sites, implementing strict site recycling and waste reduction plans.

Our LEED Accredited Professionals
Kozeny-Wagner has LEED Accredited Professionals (APs) staffed within our organization.  These employees have completed seminars and workshops to prepare for and pass the professional exam.

Our LEED APs have a thorough experience based understanding of green building practices and principles in addition to the LEED Rating System.  Their knowledge and skills in sustainable construction helps them guide our customers through the process of how building green relates to constructability and viability in the markets we build in.  Our professionals provide expert advice if our customers choose to use the LEED Rating System, or if they simply want to incorporate any sustainable building systems or techniques.
